When using Microsoft translate pages get 500 internal server error!

This is urgent. Google blocked me today.

I cant afford to pay for v2.

And when i need microsoft option it doesnt work.

My pages are all translating blank with Google v1.

I need this fixed asap please!

Did Google block you?, i'm having a similar issue that some thread titles are missing and translated text is blank, but if i change to different languages the thread title...etc appear

Looks like they did, but i recenly refreshed my entire db, so ive been making a lot more calls than normal.

Its probably a 24hr block but it still doesnt help the Microsoft option doesnt work.

I see this MOD dying, MS option is limited and Google is taking the service away.

Yes, if parts are missing, you're being blocked.

Hmmmm, a 24 hour block, i wonder if thats the case with me as the now banned Baidu spider has had around 350 on my site at anyone time (built a mod to get rid of them), do they block single languages or all translations?

There is going to be a paid translation service which is supported in the latest version of vBET.

If you ban spiders the pages will never be indexed, defeating the point.

LOL, i tried the paid, i used 1 million characters in 10mins @ $20

If you want to start paying $1000's for the traffic then its a solution i guess.

Re: the spiders, i understand that but Baidu spiders bring little traffic but really crap all over your resources, so i now ban most chinese and other nonsense spiders:

Sogou
PSbot
Yandex (russian yahoo)

.... i could go on

Well if i don't get these particular translations back i'll have to go paid but my translations..etc already account for almost 12 million urls and a lot of my pages have a lot of content so i can see me dumping support for the rest of the world at my forums, which is a real shame. I just cleared my caches (guest and database) and got 9Gb of space back!

Well, i refreshed my cache which was 6gb, trust me, with that many urls you CANT afford v2 API, many thousands.

Re the spider's, the pages only get translated once, so whether baidu does it or a user or google makes no difference.

So blocking spiders, is pointless.

I hope the MS api works, but ive done some reading and its limited to 50 calls a minute, which i highly doubt is enough to support most forums.

50 calls per minute? jeez!, that probably means that for the remaining 59.99 seconds my forum will not get any translations , what are their rules on caching the translations, do you know?, it wouldn't be too bad if we can keep the translations, it means a slowdown in trnslations for a few months but eventualy it will catch up!

I'm having a similar issue with translations to English (default) not working. If I switch to v2 it works for a second, then on the next page load it does not. Something is up with Google Translate.
