Changing posts per thread option

I recently made my threads display 20 posts instead of 10, thus adding more content onto page 1 of a thread.

Do i need to fully empty the cache of will it be ok to just leave it, ie; do i need to translate all threads from scratch?

You do not need do do anything in case of cache. Guest cache refreshes every hour itself for relevant pages (by default - it is configurable). And database cache is designed to react immediately on every change on your forum
