Today I canceled this quick fix

Try to replace:

$template_hook['headinclude_css'] .= '<link rel=\'alternate\' hreflang=\''.$key.'\' href=\''.$host.vbet_createURL($key).'\' />'; 

to:

$template_hook['headinclude_css'] .= '<link rel=\'alternate\' hreflang=\''.$key.'\' href=\''.vbet_createURL($key).'\' />';
