htaccess problems

I had a major crash today and have now got everything working again apart from vbet. It's a htaccess problem and I'd appreciate it if someone could help me correct it.

I have my forum in /forum

Here's my htaccess (vbet is commented out currently because uncommenting causes 404)

I've put the default vbet rules into this htaccess but all I get is a 404. I'd appreciate some help with this if someone has time.

Solved. Problem was caused by PHP.ini. After fixing that I uploaded a saved copy of htaccess and all is good.
