Default Replace Non-English Characters in URLs?

In order to integration of vbse do I have to "Replace Non-English Characters in URLs" to "Keep Non-English Characters in URLs"? I made some custom character replacements.

The instructions say to "Keep**********" because it can break your translated links.

As in previous post. You should use this option: Keep Non-English Characters in URLs
Since vBET translates URLs for threads it is necessary do NOT replace not English characters in URLs.

Of course custom character replacements is 100% fine when you are using "Keep Non-English Characters in URLs". In vBSEO those are 2 different options. I.e. this forum:
    simple-NLP.pl darmowe forum o NLP - forum o NLP
runs with vBSEO and uses custom replacements to replace Polish letters, of course still with "Keep Non-English Characters in URLs"
